Message from the Principal

Dear Students, Parents, and Well-wishers,

A hearty welcome to you all at the commencement of the new academic session 2025–26 of Jagdish Saran Hindu Post Graduate College, Amroha. Under the efficient guidance of our Management Committee, this college continuously strives and exerts efforts for the protection, promotion, and management of intellectual property and the academic environment. Qualified teacher colleagues and non-teaching staff always provide their active and creative cooperation in this endeavour. I heartily greet the Management Committee of the college and all members of our academic family as we begin the new academic session.

Dear students, millions of best wishes to all of you, the future nation-builders, who are striving to make this beautiful opportunity for higher education a pleasant occasion in your lives. Education is a continuous lifelong process that instills new consciousness in the public mind. It is a matter of great joy that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was announced by the Government of India on 29 July 2020 and has been implemented from the academic session 2021–22.

Revolutionary changes will take place in the world of education through the National Education Policy. The protection and promotion of Indian languages will be strengthened through teaching and learning in the mother tongue, regional languages, and the national language. It is an irrefutable fact that the opportunity for quality higher education is not available to everyone. You are fortunate to have received this opportunity, and I encourage you to make the best use of it.

Education paves the way for progress. Character, culture, and civilization are nurtured through education. I urge every student to participate wholeheartedly in the academic and co-curricular activities organized by the college with dedication and discipline. Education is an ornament and a priceless jewel; use it to refine and enrich your personality. There is no substitute for hard work, dedication, and discipline. Students who acquire knowledge with sincerity and adopt high moral values become responsible citizens and compassionate human beings.

Do not waste the invaluable period of student life. Utilize it to build a strong foundation for your future. To nurture the inherent talents of our students and promote their all-round personality development, the college provides an excellent platform through departmental seminars, cultural programmes, sports activities, and the active participation of NCC, NSS, and Rovers & Rangers units. A Youth Sports Festival was successfully organized from 08 to 12 February 2025, followed by a Youth Cultural Festival from 03 to 08 March 2025, which brought great pride to our institution.

After taking charge as Principal, a completely free coaching facility named "Jagdish Saran Study Center" and a "Free Study Center" in the library reading room were established for the benefit of students and to help them achieve academic excellence. Through these initiatives, approximately 54 students have successfully qualified the NET and JRF examinations required for degree college teaching positions during the last three years. In addition, hundreds of students have succeeded in various competitive examinations and have brought honour to the college through their achievements across the country.

The objective of our college is to guide and empower the "Youth Power of the Nation" so that they may contribute towards building a prosperous India free from fear, exploitation, inequality, injustice, corruption, and poverty. Identify your talent and skills, and move forward in the field of your interest—whether academic, administrative, professional, sports, cultural, literary, political, scientific, or technological. Continue striving for the development of your abilities and skills, which is also the fundamental spirit of the National Education Policy 2020. Attend classes regularly and acquire knowledge with sincerity.

Participate enthusiastically in sports, literary, and cultural activities. Consider the college campus and its property as your own. Help maintain a clean, green, healthy, and disciplined environment. Uphold human values, dignity, and discipline. Your family and society have great expectations from you. Make every effort to fulfill those expectations and shape your future by acquiring employment-oriented education and valuable life skills during your student life.
